I've read alot of mixed reviews on baby swings. Some swing front to back and others side to side. Any suggestions on which swing i should register for? Name brand and model would help.|||I have the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders swing and L-O-V-E it! It swings both back and forth AND cradle which my infant daughter really enjoys.
It is available in a few different styles. Here is the link to Walmart.com

Plus we got ours off Craigslist for only $60.|||I have the same one as Noah's mommy and my son loves it!|||We really enjoyed our Graco model that was a gift to us from my great aunt. It only swings front to back, which is really fine. I don't know a model number, but it was sage green, which goes nice with most decor. And it had like a zoo animal theme with the mobile hanging over that moved around. Had some nice classical music that is optional. And the adjustable swing speed. Didn't have any problems or complaints whatsoever. Graco is generally a very reliable brand. We'll be using this same swing for (hopefully) the next baby.|||The starlight papasan was really nice. It goes both ways and has these great little star lights that shine all over the place. It also plays soothing sounds. My baby doesnt like to swing, so I brought it back. But I wish I hadnt, because now hes getting to the age where he MIGHT like to try it again.|||i have this one, its expensive but great. you can take the seat part out of the frame and then its a bouncer so you don't have to choose between a swing and a bouncer
