What is the biggest vote swing in UK politics of the last century?

I'm trying to find a source of electoral statistics that will tell me what the biggest vote swing has been in a general election in the last 100 years. I know the swing in 1997 was 8.8% to Labour and that's considered a big swing, but has there been any bigger?|||"The swing in 1997 is smaller than the 12.0 percent from the National Government to Labour in 1945, although it should be borne in mind that the circumstances in 1945 were unusual, not least that there had not been an election since 1935 and that National Labour candidates contributed 1.6 percentage points to the National total in 1935."

....also bare in mind that it was the end of the swing era in music, so there was a lot of pent-up swing that needed release. bebop scoobadawow

thats a national figure, but individual constituencies are in there too|||Eh??? Where were you in 2010???? Shocked lol....Mr Clegg swung 21 percent to give the lib dem's the leadership of the uk, he beat mr brown and the good guy cam....Many people in the uk, europe and the world had their mouth down all day, but he changed the face of politic's in a single term and turned the uk into the most dominent european country anyone had seen previously....All newspapers supported his plight and supported him until he retired in 2022, he was known as the most succesful prime minister not only in the uk, but widely thought of as the inspiration in the turning point in the 2008 - 2011 downturned economies, he also went on to avoid a world war in 2016 between Europe and the Russian federation....This is a future headline from moi :) Dont agree???? Why are you anti-your country.....The uk have their own JFK, and it's time we supported him :) History can judge us :P

I will not answer your question, you answered it already...not sure? re-read the 8.8 percent, have a good eve hun....peace, love and unity for the uk and everyone everywhere :D
