What is your favorite baby swing and why? Any thoughts on the new brightstarts ingenuity swing?

Hi all,

I am looking to purchase a new swing and I am leaning towards a bright starts ingenuity swing. I would like to see what people with this swing think of it also wondering what were/are peoples favorite baby swing and why? My baby is more then likely going to be born early so a swing for the little ones is a must!|||we have the Fisher Price Little Lamb Papasan Cradle Swing. The fabric is so soft and cozy u will want to get in it yourself. Being a cradle swing its laid all the way back so u don't have to worry about the babies head falling everywhere. It can swing forward and back and from side to side. my daughter loved to sleep in it, and I just can't see using any other swing, we just loved it. I will be setting it up again in a few weeks since I am due with my second next month. Good Luck.|||i have the bright stars ingenuity swing and i love the way the fabric feels, its pretty, and my daughter loved it till about 2 months. then she didnt like it anymore because she basically has to lay down to sit in it, and she actually fell out of it once (my bad for not buckling her in) but she was trying to sit up and fell out.

my sisters both have the fisher price rain forest swings (similar to the one above) but i wish i had gotten that one instead and probably will with our next child. my daughter likes that swing more and at 5 months can still sit in the fisher price one but HATES to sit in our bright stars one. plus the fisher price one can plug into the wall!|||We had the travel style of the bright starts ingenuity swing. We loved it, and so did baby. It was great when she was really little because it has a cradle setting and she slept so good in it. It can also be adjusted to sit up, although at 3 1/2 months she really doesn't like to be in the swing anymore. She prefers her play mat or high chair (it's much more upright than the swing).|||Well, I didn't exactly try 10 swings to determine which was my favorite... We just bought the most comfy looking one for the lowest price we could find.

All swings are basically the same... by tiem your baby is old enough to even care about the swing, he won't want to be in it anymore anyways.
