What is the best way to improve your hitting power and swing speed?

Im a slugger already but I want to know how to get the most out of my swing to, get farther distance in my hits, how to improve my batting power and swing speed.|||Underloading. It's an isotonic training program to increase bat speed. According to the professional hitting instructor and former scout (listed link) below, good hitters come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. His students work on vision training, mental approach, and the mechanics of rotational hitting with a positional slot by using Jaimie Cevallos' MP28 and MP30 Training Bats on T work which teach the hitter via muscle memory to have a greater AOI (area of impact) and to increase their power by using their lower body correctly in their swing. His clients follows Dana Cavalea's Strength Program (ML Strength) which do core work, etc., but they never do any strength work laying down. Dana is also the New York Yankees strength and conditioning coach which means the Yankees never do any of their strength work laying down, jfi. If nothing else check out Jaimie Cevallos and Dana Cavalea, but the people at Combat Hitting know what they're doing in developing hitters...all good sources.|||work on your wrist snap..I had the same thing then worked on my wrist snap and it worked great for my swing speed. Working out your forearm muscles helps out too. The faster your hand come through the more power you get. You don't have to have to build of Albert Pujols to hit the ball far. A lot of it is technique with wrists and hands. I've seen 150 pound kids hit it 390ft. because they've had good hand speed and wrist snap|||Do some wrist strengthening exercises. Also some plyometrics with strength combinations. Hip and core is always good for any baseball activity, especially hitting.
