How can I learn to swing my hands naturally when I walk?

When I walk the way that feels natural for me, usually only one arm swings close to my body, touching my side with every swing, while the other stays still. And if I try to imitate the way other people do it, it just feels awkward and I feel like others can tell it's not natural. Has anyone else experienced this?|||Mine was the exact opposite. I swing both my arms when I walk, so I look like a happy baby. It was embarrassing when I realized what I was doing, then, the more I thought about it, the more I started doing it, and then I started swinging my arms even when I wasn't walking, I felt ridiculous! But then I was standing in the lunch line at school, and I guess I started swinging my arms again, and someone behind me said "Do you swing your arms like that on purpose?" I was so embarrassed I thought I might dissolved into a puddle at his feet. "n-n-no" I said. "well it's adorable." He told me. So don't worry about the way your arms swing, it's something that makes you unique. Take pride in it.|||Yes, I have because I have a physical disability (cerebral palsy) and usually one arm swings for me as well (not touching my side at every swing though) Apparently your arms are supposed to move opposite arm with opposite leg but I could never really do that. Just walk however is natural for you. Everyone walks differently.|||You are so self conscious that you can't relax. Just walk the way you like to walk and screw the way everybody else walks.|||I'm sorry ...I really am...but that is just hilarious . I'm sure they way you swing Ur arms is just fine- there's no reason to be so self conscious .
